Read on if you want to know what World Direct is providing for you the user, what its responsibilities are to you, and in turn what your responsibilities are when using the website and services provided.

 

If you use this website you are agreeing to these terms so please read them, if you are unsure about anything please email . You should frequently review these pages as they may change during your membership, by continuing to use this website you are agreeing to any revised terms as they are posted.

 

What we are providing?

 

Job World Direct Limited (JWD Ltd) provides contact services for employers and jobseekers.

  • Job seekers can build an online profile of their skills, experience and qualifications and notify employers of their availability for work.
  • Employers can review jobseeker profiles that match their requirements and contact them direct.

 The following terms and conditions are split into sections

  • Job seeker,
  • Employer, and
  • General terms and conditions.

Each section is subdivided into ‘our and your’ responsibilities.

 

These terms and conditions may change during the period of your membership so please frequently read them. If you use this website once new conditions are posted you are accepting the updated terms and conditions.

 

Job Seeker

 

Our responsibilities are to…

  • Continuously send JWD Ltd registered employers your profile details when they match their requirements whilst your membership subscription is current.
  • Let you know when employers have reviewed your profile or want to contact you.
  • Request online feedback for you from organisations that have employed you as a result of contact through JWD Ltd.
  • Help you make the most of your online profile by posting job seeker tips and advice.
  • Let you know when your subscription is due to expire.
  • Protect your information in accordance with our privacy policy and the data protection act.
  • Terminate your subscription and remove your profile if you act illegally or offend others.

 Your responsibilities are to…

  • Build an accurate and truthful online profile for employers to review and be accountable for the contents.
  • Not post anything illegal or offensive, or infringe others copyright or intellectual property rights.
  • Keep your subscription current and up to date if you want to subscribe to advanced membership. Standard membership free.
  • Maintain accurate and up to date contact information.
  • Deactivate your account if you find employment elsewhere.
  • Agree to employers having your contact details if they want to speak to you regarding a vacancy, temporary position or contract.
  • SATISFY YOURSELF of the
    • Identity and integrity of any person contacting you as there are risks associated with dealing with people you don’t know.
    • Accuracy of the information provided by any employer.
    • Suitability of any contact or job offer made from employers.
    • Suitability of links to other websites from JWD Ltd.
  • Change your email spam settings to accept notifications from worlddirectjobs.com about contact, updates and subscriptions and other essential communications concerning employer contact and offers of employment.
  • Provide honest and timely feedback about employers that have contacted or employed you through JWD Ltd.
  • Be accountable for the feedback you provide.
  • Not allow anyone else to know or use your username and password, or resell your membership. To immediately notify us by if you know of any such occurrence.
  • Notify us of anyone you suspect is acting illegally by .
  • anyone that you suspect is a recruitment or employment agency or consultancy using JWD Ltd to contact you. You will receive a cash reward if they are proven to be found guilty.
  • Resolve any disputes you may have with other users of JWD Ltd direct with them.

 

Employer

 

Our responsibilities are to…

  • Continuously match job seeker profiles against your requirements and update your organisations JWD Ltd vacancies listings with existing and new job seekers whilst your subscription is current.
  • Request online feedback from job seekers you have employed after contacting them through JWD Ltd.
  • Help you make the most of your online profile by posting useful tips and advice for employers
  • Let you know when your subscription is due to expire.
  • Terminate your subscription and remove your profile if you act illegally or offend others.

 

Your responsibilities are to…

  • Accurately list your vacancies as JWD Ltd will match to your requirements, if you incorrectly list your vacancies you will receive incorrect matches.
  • Be accountable for the content posted on your company profile and not to post anything illegal or offensive, or infringe others copyright or intellectual property.
  • List only vacancies you intend to fill.
  • Satisfy yourself of the
    • Identity and integrity of the person you are contacting as there are physical and financial risks associated with dealing with strangers, foreign nationals, underage persons or people acting under false pretences.
    • Accuracy of the information provided by the job seeker.
    • Suitability of the job seeker before offering them a contract or job.
    • Suitability of links to other websites from JWD Ltd.
  • Provide honest and timely online feedback to job seekers you have employed having contacted them through JWD Ltd.
  • Be accountable for the feedback you provide.
  • Not allow anyone else to use your username and password and to notify us immediately of any such occurrence by .
  • Keep your subscription up to date.
  • Not to resell your subscription to a third party.
  • of anyone you suspect is acting illegally.
  • Confirm that you are not an employment agency or recruitment consultancy or acting on behalf of one, or using this website for commercial gain in the recruitment or employment industry by ticking the box accepting these terms and conditions when you register.
  • Pay a £1000 + VAT fee for each and every contact that has been made through JWD Ltd if found to be an employment agency or recruitment consultancy, associated with or acting for such a business.
  • Recruitment consultancies and employment agencies are prohibited from using this website. Any job seeker contacted by such a business or associated business will be paid a cash reward for notifying JWD Ltd of such an occurrence.
  • Resolve any disputes you may have with other users of JWD Ltd direct with them.

 

General

 

Membership…

 

Your membership with us is payable when you activate your account, the amount payable is dependent on the period of membership you have chosen. Your membership subscription is non refundable once your account is activated as JWD Ltd matches employers requirements and job seeker availability immediately upon activation and so services are deemed to have been consumed.

 

JWD Ltd does not guarantee exact matches for employer requirements at launch but will continually match requirements against current and future job seekers whilst memberships are current. If no matches exist membership is still payable and immediately following launch this may be the case. For this reason the employer membership subscription is currently reduced from £295 inc VAT to £29.50 inc VAT for 3 months.

 

If you wish to deactivate your account because you have been employed or have filled the vacancy you were looking to fill, you can deactivate your account with no penalties but no refunds of membership subscriptions will be payable for prematurely deactivating an account.

 

Our work…

 

Job World Direct Ltd agrees to you downloading information you need from this website once for personal and non-commercial use.  The copyright of all content, graphics and images however remains with Job World Direct Ltd, its approved suppliers and partners at all times. Any additional use outside of this infringes our copyright and intellectual property and will be dealt with to the fullest extent of the law.

 

Don’t do these things and you won’t get in trouble…

 

You may not use this website

  • To break the law or infringe local regulations in force.
  • If you are under the age of 18
  • To infringe copyright, intellectual property or the privacy of others.
  • To write anything that may offend or cause anxiety to another person or organization.
  • To attempt to view data not permitted by your subscription.
  • To upload viruses or attempt to crash JWD Ltd website.
  • To use any content, information or graphics from the website in spam email.

JWD Ltd will investigate and if appropriate prosecute anyone found to be acting or attempting to act in this manner.

 

Your information…

 

We will use information anonymously that you provide us in order to manage and develop JWD Ltd to be the best it can possibly be for you the users. By submitting information to the Job World Direct Ltd website you grant us right to use such content; you still retain any rights which may exist in such content. You agree to your information being used in accordance with our privacy policy which forms part of these terms and conditions buy inclusion in this section.

 

Job World Direct Ltd's Liability.

 

JWD Ltd doesn’t guarantee or warrant that this website will operate or operate error-free. The website and its server may not be free of harmful mechanisms or computer viruses. Should use of the Job World Direct Ltd website results in the need for servicing or replacing equipment or data, Job World Direct Ltd is not responsible for those costs.

 

JWD Ltd makes no warranties about the accuracy, reliability, completeness, or timeliness of the material, website, website content, services, software, text, graphics and links. The Job World Direct Ltd website and content are provided on an "as is" basis without any warranties of any kind. JWD Ltd disclaims all warranties, whether express or implied, including the warranty of merchantability, fitness for particular purpose and non-infringement with respect to our services or any JWD Ltd website or the functionality, performance or results thereof.

 

JWD Ltd’s maximum liability arising out of or in connection with any Job World Direct Ltd website or your use of the website content, regardless of the cause of action (whether in contract, tort, breach of warranty or otherwise), will not exceed £50 and to the extent permitted by law.

 

Consequential Damages Disclaimer.

 

JWD Ltd, its suppliers or any third parties mentioned on  any JWD Ltd website are in no way liable for any damages whatsoever (including, without limitation, incidental and consequential damages, lost profits, loss of business or damages resulting from lost data or business interruption) resulting from the use or inability to use  any World Direct website and the website content, whether based on warranty, contract, tort, or any other legal theory, and whether or not JWD Ltd is advised of the possibility of such damages to the extent permitted by law.

Viewing the Website outside of the United Kingdom.

 

JWD Ltd makes no claims that the Website Content may be lawfully viewed or downloaded outside of the United Kingdom. Access to the website content may not be legal by certain persons or in certain countries. If you access the website from outside of the United Kingdom, you are responsible for complying with the laws of the country you are in.

 

Governing Law.

 

Jurisdiction for any claims arising under this agreement lie exclusively with the English Courts and these Terms and Conditions are governed by the law of England and Wales. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is found to be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term of these Terms and Conditions shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term.

 

Termination - our right to end this agreement.

 

If you breach this agreement JWD Ltd reserves the right to pursue legal remedies, including deleting your profile from this website and any other World Direct website and immediately terminating your membership.

 

Entirety

 

These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Job World Direct Ltd with respect to the use of the website. Changes to these Terms and Conditions will only be by JWD Ltd issuing a revised posting on this page.
